God Continues to Amaze me through the Cowboy Church Plant

It has been less than 2 weeks since I first mentioned the idea of the Cowboy Church Plant in New England to a friend that lives in Vermont. Ever since then I have been making some amazing contacts in the area with people that are very on fire for Jesus Christ, and seem very interested in the idea of a Cowboy Church plant in Vermont. According to my latest contact in Vermont there is a large unchurched population in Vermont as well as a large population of horse owners. These were two main questions that I was trying to figure out. We also have been offered use of a barn in which to hold our services.
God really seems to have His hands in this Church Plant. In all my time discerning my call to ministry, I have never seen Gods hand so strongly working through me to grow His Kingdom. The spirit is really moving and I think great things are getting ready to happen in Vermont. Keep us in your Prayers as we explore how God will work through us.

Planting a Cowboy Church in Northern New England

So I feel Gods hand guiding me to plant a Cowboy Church in northern New England. OK, maybe its more like a push or shove coming from God. I have been praying for God to open the Gate if this is the way He wishes me to go and close the gate if this is not His will. WOW, I don't know what I was expecting God to do, but I did not realized He would make it so obvious. Maybe He realized that I would still try to resist Him so he figured he had to beat me over the head with it.

I started making inquiries into the idea of planting a Cowboy Church in northern New England, and I really got a very positive immediate response, I could feel God working through everyone I was talking to. I have just started talking to people in the last week and already have several people interested in helping plant the church. I also have a strong lead on a location that we might be able to hold services, as well as a very strong positive response from Jeff Smith at the Cowboy Church Network of North America. WOW, God you are really amazing in the way you work, I should know that by now, but you never cease to amaze me.

Please Pray for me and my family as we seek to follow God to where ever He may be leading us on this wonderfully scary journey, and Pray for those that come alongside us. May it always be Gods goal and vision that leads us through this process and not our own desires.
